Earth to Management
Former Tenant
Pros:
A drama free community of neighbors who work hard and keep to themselves. Everyone I’ve encountered over the years has been friendly. The former super kept the building clean, and was very responsive.
Cons:
The Miller and Miller management group was the most evasive, dishonest, dismissive group of people to manage a building. If I had any issue to escalate, many times their phone would just ring out. No voicemail and no other method of contact was available and they claimed to have no email address. Absolutely no follow up from them. A tenant could report an issue, management would commit to a specific date to resolve and then completely drop the ball by not showing up, and then blame the tenant OR just act like they had no idea of what they committed to.
Advice to owner:
You are here to serve, not to abuse. People work hard, pay their rent and want and deserve a decent place to live. When issues are escalated by tenants, being evasive is callous and neglectful. Treat people the way you would want any of your loved ones to be treated.
