Basically like jail.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Getting away from a shelter The windows open and close.
Cons:
The entrance had a double door. A lot of old exposed wiring in the entrance. The floor is unfinished in the area between the door and apartment. First door led to the electrical meter for upstairs. Second door was the apartment. The second door had an air gap at the bottom. Rats are a problem in this apartment. So are ants. The floor is unfinished in certain spots. No heat control or air. The windows with the gates on it doesn’t open. Except the back bedroom window. The backyard up against the house is filled with leaves and clutter. Can’t use it either way House was smaller than advertised. Doors aren’t straight. Gaps under doorways. Kitchen has no counter space Barely any storage And there is a door in the kitchen leading to the rest of the house upstairs. That door isn’t hung right either. The outlets don’t hold items The walls weep when it rains. Don’t lean on the wall when it rains. Landlord isn’t friendly. Whatsoever. Even if you’re giving her your rent. Her family uses the driveway so you can’t. No proper ventilation. Can’t use the backyard. Because of the staircase leading to it upstairs. The door in the bedroom leading outside is painted and nailed shut. When I used the driveway to move in. I was given a time limit. Even though my apartment looked right at it. When I didn’t move my truck because I still needed to move things out I got a traffic ticket. The bathroom is small and on a slant. Bathroom is just a small tile shower and toilet. The medicine cabinet is old and should be replaced.
Advice to owner:
Gut that apartment and use it for family like you had done before.
