Pros:
Excellent location near the Middletown Rd. train station, BX8, BX24, and BX40/42 buses. Only one block away!
Walking distance to a bike path, good restaurants, and take out spots. Pelham Bay Park is nearby!
Next door neighbors are very friendly.
Owner will respond to any questions or concerns immediately!
You also have access to the backyard shed for storage.
Cons:
Poor insulation leads to heat or cold being trapped.
Mostly functioning heating system. You may need a space heater or two to stay warm on abnormally cold days/nights and the bedroom next to the master gets especially cold on windy and chilly days.
Not good parking on weekdays since people park their cars and take the train to the city. On any other day, walking to your car across the green space in front of the building requires you to maneuver around dog poop.
You can’t use the backyard or driveway/front yard for your own recreation.
Occasional noise pollution from the train or cars.
Advice to owner:
Allow the use of the backyard or front yard/driveway for recreational space.
Allow specialists to check up on the heaters prior to every winter season.
