Could be better

Pros:
Lived here for over 3 years. Inadequate heats due to old windows and heat pressure. Kitchen hot water is great but bathroom hot water takes abut to warm up. Clean & safe building / neighborhood. Plenty of stores and restaurants. Floors creek ALOT! Can hear neighbors walk above you. Thin walls can hear neighbors. Dog barking can get annoying but does not happen too often. Nice appliances.

Advice to owner:
Fix your apart floors and windows! Cold comes throw the walls too. May be invest in insulation upgrade.

Gem of an old building, with some typical old building problems

Pros:
Most competent live-in super I’ve ever had
Apartment had updated fixtures in kitchen/bathroom
Nice location/neighborhood
Well maintained laundry room and garbage room
Cons:
Outdated heating system, made it very hot in the winter
Occasionally saw a cockroach and had a mouse come through the radiator vent on one occasion
The application process with leasing was absolutely horrific. It took weeks of going back and forth for them to finally approve an application.
Advice to owner:
Update the heating/boiler system and start implementing better pest control. Also, start streamlining the application process for quicker approvals.
