Quiet building in a great neighborhood
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Well maintained with an extremely responsive super - Quiet, very rarely hear neighbors and everyone has been considerate - Clean and have had no issues with pests - Fantastic location close to lots of grocery stores and subway lines
Cons:
- The heat is not able to be controlled by tenants, so the building is hot during the winter months. This can be solved by leaving windows open to let in fresh air.

- washer and dryer in unit
- upgraded appliances
- natural light
- friendly super

- can never get in touch with management
- owned by Jared Kushner
- very thin walls, can hear neighbors on all sides
- no on-site super so trash is not always promptly tidied
- no locksmith information posted in building

Landlord is dishonest - didn’t return my deposit
Former Tenant
Pros:
Allows pets, nice block, rent stabilized
Cons:
Tom Rohlman at Pine Management wrongfully kept my deposit money - and when I called him for an explanation he screamed at me abusively. It is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a landlord. I left the apt in such perfect condition that they did not even repaint the apt for the next tenant, who was an acquaintance.
Advice to owner:
Don’t steal deposits and then scream at your loyal tenants - ask Tom Rohlman to seek therapy.

Exactly what you would expect from the Kushners
Former Tenant
Pros:
No real pros.
Cons:
Liars, cheats, non responsive, constant employee turnover
Advice to owner:
Find a conscience.
