Living Here for 3 Years
Former Tenant
Pros:
-Some doormen are so sweet and nice, and two are strange and unbearable, but overall nice that there's a 24hr doorman. -Elevators and building generally clean. Good upkeep -Quiet and respectful neighbors, never had a noise issue.
Cons:
-majority of neighbors living on the 8-11th floors are all older white people who are a bit snobby. -co-op rules are really strict and inflexible. move in and move out cost a hefty deposit (that I wasn't returned). Subletting process is very lengthy and even more costly. -pretty bad cockroach issue. Pest control is free monthly but if I don't keep it up the bugs come back almost right away. -improvements to building is slow. motion to add two laundry machines and two dryers is adding up to 3 years at this point.
