Nice Apartment In An Amazing Location
Former Tenant
Pros:
The apartment is a nice size, but the closets are tiny. The building has an elevator and laundry. The super is very attentive and easy to contact. Neighbors are friendly and generally keep to themselves. Being in Brooklyn Heights and close to a subway station, Brooklyn bridge park, and Atlantic avenue is great. Overall decent comfortable building.
Cons:
The walls and floors are VERY thin. You can hear everything your neighbors do - walking normally, talking at a regular volume, etc. There are roach problems from time to time. Management tries to take care of it very quickly, but even with the pest control you will find bugs coming up from the drains often. There is a laundry room in the basement with 2 washers and 2 dryers but the washers often break down and are not extremely clean and smell. Can’t control the heat so it can get very hot during the winter months.

Broker and Owner deal in bad faith
Former Tenant
Pros:
Looked like a great place
Cons:
Broker Lior Cohen via Landlord (mostly landlord's fault it sounds like) deal in bad faith. They didn't read my application dates and approved me for a Jan 1 move-in. After noticing they made a mistake they reissued the offer for January 1st at the rent I was approved for--after I accepted the deal in writing the landlord said I could move-in Dec 15 or no lease.
