Fine but not really
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location and price before the rent hikes
Cons:
Paper thin ceiling and homeless outside all day
Advice to owner:
Care

Paper thin walls
Former Tenant
Pros:
Fine area and normal average building
Cons:
You will hear everything from your neighbors apartment. Walking, music, talking, screaming children, dropping things over and over. There’s also a few homeless people who sit less than 3 feet from the entrance begging for change all day
Advice to owner:
Upgrade your property instead of making money from an 1890s skeleton

Good value but can be noisy.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location and size was pretty good. Overall good value. Tall ceilings. Zero pests. Laundry is good. Rent stabilized. Management extremely responsive and helpful when problems have come up- about the best I’ve encountered in NYC.
Cons:
Old building, so somewhat noisy floor / walls. High traffic street, but that’s the flipside of a central location.
Advice to owner:
None.
