Avoid at all costs
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Cobble Hill is a beautiful spot - close to many things: TJs, grocery stores, gyms, not too far from F, G - beautiful street - rent stabilized - electronic rent payment - close to the water, piers
Cons:
- HORRIBLE management: rude, unhelpful, no human decency, completely unprofessional. I never got anything fixed and had to call 311 almost every single time. - super will NOT fix most things, and if he does, it’s barely actually fixed. Does not truly care about tenants. I had a gas leak, he didn’t believe me, so I called National Grid and identified a leak immediately. - extremely tiny kitchens, almost unusable - I had cockroaches that were never properly addressed - extremely creaky floors. Downstairs neighbor was bothered by me simply walking around. - front doors have gaps, so neighbors can hear when you play music - no closets in many of the units - brokers fee that is ridiculously expensive (15%) - overall, terrible experience with very rude people that do not care about your well-being.
Advice to owner:
Change management. Address the pest issue as this is disgusting. Do better and care about your tenants.
