Unfair Landlord
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location and apt is spacious with washer dryer and dish washer. High ceilings are a plus.
Cons:
High rent didn’t mean the landlord was responsive. The apt had a number of issues - the heat/AC was not even across the apt. Some rooms were too hot and the others cold. Cockroaches were frequent. Landlord did not provide any blinds for the east facing windows that got plenty of morning light making the apt very hot during the summer.

The common area wasn’t well maintained either. The landlord did not provide any garbage disposal, so you have to hold on to your trash until pickup day. The staircase and entrance were never cleaned. There was a
leakage from the ceiling above the staircase that took a while to be repaired.

The landlord also held onto a significant portion of our deposit claiming it was a cleaning fee and to fix 10 year old mirrors etc., which was plain illegal. Definitely don’t recommend this building to anyone.
Advice to owner:
Please treat your tenants fairly
