Terrible - stay away
Former Tenant
Pros:
Beautiful is building, great apartments
Cons:
The landlords are a nightmare. You live under a microscope and the landlords constantly are nagging you to do this differently or that differently it is nonstop. They accuse you of ludicrous things, are incessantly calling and texting to tell you how terrible everything you are doing is, and claim they can't help with basic repairs because they "don't have any money because they don't work" which is just so completely disconnected from reality that it's impossible to respond to. They claim to be "very nice and everyone loves them" but the nightmare that is dealing with them is known to all their tenants and openly talked about. No one lives there long because it is so horrid. That said, if you enjoy being treated like a criminal, dealing with police raiding your building, and having your landlord's 20 year old sons who also live there verbally abuse you, this might be the place for you! As a bonus, one of them is a smoker and you can smell it even several floors up - probably because their doors are always open since the landlords are constantly shrieking at each other in the hallways about personal squabbles.
Advice to owner:
Stop treating your tenants like they are guests in a boarding house or like you're doing them a favor by letting them live there. They live there, pay exorbitant rents, and have rights.
