Great apartment, awful landlord
Former Tenant
Pros:
This apartment was perfect for 3/4 roommates having 1.5 bathrooms, a spacious kitchen and living area, and the smallest room being 100sqft.
Cons:
Appliances were old and malfunctioned although marketed as a “newly renovated” apartment. Landlord lived in the unit below and was not attentive and kept entry space filthy and never cleaned the common building spaces. Also the landlord constantly fought with his roommate and made the living situation difficult considering the walls were also thin. Another strange interaction, the landlord made us uncomfortable when we didn’t place a pizza box in the recycle without breaking the box down- he went through the security footage and sent us a picture of returning to the apartment with the pizza. Very very creepy person and all together not a good landlord. Did not even check in on tenants during the pandemic.
Advice to owner:
Be more human and less creepy
