Get ready to DIY
Former Tenant
Pros:
Low key building. Sturdy construction. Fair price compared to market. No hidden fees or expenses.
Cons:
No help with pest control of any kind.
No lease renewal, just month to month. She can kick out tenants at any time and has (min 90day notice). Her go-to lie is that she's moving into the unit.
Handyman is not good, better to hire someone yourself long term.
Loud radiators that she refuses to fix.
Poor window insulation and windows do not lock. Sometimes panes slide down and get stuck.
