The building flooded, don't move here
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice views. Doorman is very nice. In a quiet neighborhood. There are a couple of great pizzerias nearby.
Cons:
The building's basement flooded during the heavy rains on September 30. All the stuff in the resident storage lockers has presumably been destroyed, although they won't let us down there to check.
Advice to owner:
Waterproof the basement

Do not move here
Former Tenant
Pros:
Pros? There are no Pros
Cons:
First month I moved in the ceiling caved in. After repairs the plaster was never sanded and painted.
All caulking and paint looks like it was done using their hands.
My apartment was INFESTED with roaches.
Nothing was cleaned - I had to clean when I moved in.
My door knob fell off and was never repaired.
Windows don't properly open and shut.
Hot water would just be off on some weekends.
THIS APARTMENT IS INFESTED WITH BEDBUGS
Once I moved out my emails and phone calls have been ignored and they won't return my security deposit.
My downstairs neighbor smoked constantly and it filled my apartment. The building manager told me there was nothing she could do.
Advice to owner:
Guarantee the property owner wouldn't take any advice
