Stay Away - do NOT rent
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location in North Park Slope

Quiet, low traffic street
Cons:
Be warned - this place is awful!

To start, you will pay a broker fee to live in an awful building.

Property manager is rude and at times downright disrespectful especially towards women.

It takes a long time and multiple attempts to fix anything if at all. Any fixes are done cheap and poorly.

Rent increases of 13% or more year over year. They do not follow lawful guidelines and have threatened tenants.

Landlords live in the building and are not friendly. They want zero communication with tenants and will just sic the property manager on you if they want anything.

The common areas such as lobby and stairs do not get cleaned or maintained.

There is so much wrong in this building. Mold in bathrooms, hvac full of dust with no maintenance, incredibly dusty and crusty stairs, holes in ceiling, poor water pressure and occasional leaks. The list could go on. Just do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
Advice to owner:
If you can’t be a decent landlord/management then stop renting out apartments. Your tenants are people who deserve respect and proper housing. We are not just walking wallets!

Management sucks, beware!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location is nice and quiet
Cons:
The management is so rude and disrespectful. You have to pester for him to come do his job or send someone. The landlord refuses to speak with tenants although they live there. Management threatened to call “marshalls” to kick out tenants because they rightfully told them that they have to give 90-day notice before raising rent nearly 13%.
Advice to owner:
Get new management and respect your tenants! We are people, not just profit
