Mixed bag in a great location
Former Tenant
Pros:
It’s a great location and a roomy spot. The landlord is never around, but compared to some others that’s honestly a good thing! Exterminator comes regularly and hallway is usually clean. Neighbors keep to themselves, which can be good or bad depending on your preference. Super is nice, a little odd, but usually could fix everything. Does take his time, though.
Cons:
Garbage: you have to take any trash two doors down, to another building, since there’s no system for this one. Heat: the heaters are insane. It’s easily 80 degrees throughout the whole winter. We kept acs on. Water: takes at least 15 minutes to heat up each time. Toilet only flushes if you hold the handle down the whole time. COVID: super, exterminator, sometimes wore masks. Owner never even mentioned it existed. No rent reduction, actually it increased, and no née measures.
Advice to owner:
Be a better person when it comes to COVID. We were struggling and you didn’t seem to care, which is why we’re leaving. The price is insane, even for the area, in the current market.

Pretty awful and sketch management but great building
Former Tenant
Pros:
One of my favorite places I’ve ever lived Awesome private patio Close to subway r train No pests
Cons:
Management wouldn’t be transparent Had to mail rent checks for a while Management would not be responsive Management wouldn’t notify u when they enter unit to fix things No ticket tracking system Received the unit in dirty condition They don’t do a deep clean between tenants And then they don’t give you your security deposit back for stupid things like accumulated dust on the fan No built in AC
Advice to owner:
Be better at being responsive, being transparent, and being fair to your units. Don’t try to squeeze money out of them and make sure the unit is clean with your own eyes before you give it to a new tenant
