Old building with old building charm/issues
Former Tenant
Pros:
- My rent includes utilities
- no pet fee
- Quiet area and quiet neighbors
- Close to many small businesses and restaurants
- Cute building with plaster stamped ceilings and wood floors.
- Despite having a small layout there's plenty of windows/natural light.
- responsive management company for necessary repairs
Cons:
- None of the security cameras are operational.
- Odd placement of light switches/outlets. Light switch for bedroom is opposite side of bedroom entrance.
- Apartment floor is significantly sloping. Several furniture wedges are needed to prevent wobbly tables.
- Packages inside the building have been stolen despite having a locking front door.
Advice to owner:
Appreciate management of building so far but please fix the security cameras or put up a single camera by the package area.

Great location, building is okay
Former Tenant
Pros:
Management was always responsive and professional, which was really appreciated. Amazingly quiet building. Never dealt with noise issues and location is unbeatable.
Cons:
Building is old and doesn’t seem super well maintained or updated (but can only speak for my unit). Saw mice and had droppings in my place, but no other major bugs/pests besides the occasional ant or fly. You’re really paying for the location at this place. Lost heat and hot water at least 3-4 times in one year.
Advice to owner:
Please update the units and deal with maintenance issues given the amount you are charging!

Decent for Great Location
Former Tenant
Pros:
Quiet, great neighborhood/location, feels safe, decent natural lighting for our specific apartment, never dealt with power/wifi outage just couple water shut offs for maintenance
Cons:
Old, slanted floors, expensive for old building, caulking needs to be repaired, paint is clumpy (not neat), small apartment for the price, recurring problem with small sink leaks
