Not great- better options out there
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location next to a park, subway, and grocery stores
Cons:
-over priced -appliances don’t work -unresponsive landlord -didn’t have heat for almost 3 months -bug issues- ants, ladybugs, silverfish -laundry in basement breaks -cabinets are literally falling out of the wall -floorboards were not properly placed -issues with mice -next to a preschool so constant children screaming -illegally raises rent ie refer to the recently passed good cause eviction law. -people steal packages
Advice to owner:
Get it together- this might be an investment to you but it’s a home to your tenants. Take care of your asset.

Loved living hear despite it being very expensive
Former Tenant
Pros:
Neighbors! Everyone was so nice and no one was loud. Lots of families or single young professionals. Never had an issue.
I would have lived her longer but then increased the rent more and I could find a larger apartment for the price.
Cons:
Very expensive
A little difficult to reach the super, but he was quick to fix issues so I didn’t mind.
Advice to owner:
Clean the entrance and building more.

0/10 RECOMMEND THIS MANAGEMENT - STAY AWAY!!
Former Tenant
Pros:
1) location -- just off 5th ave and in front of a cute little community garden 2) super is awesome but can be difficult to get a hold of 3) quiet neighbors
Cons:
1) The WORST management I've ever encountered (having moved 6 times in NYC/BK). They negotiated painting incentive (I would repaint apt and receive reduction in first month's rent) in lieu of a rent reduction at signing, and then took it away the day I signed. When my partner called to question this lie, he was verbally abused on the phone (called stupid, etc).
2) MAJOR centipede infestation issue that lasted 4 months (would kill at least 10 of these two-inch beasts EVERY NIGHT) and involved constantly hounding management with emails/texts/photo evidence and being accused of lying. When they refused to do anything about it for weeks on end, I ended up having to call my own exterminator and then was reprimanded for it.
4) Water leakage problems. Building is heated via pipes -- the large one in my living room has been spurting water for 3 months and no one has come by to rectify this issue even though I've contacted super/management multiple times. There is now permanent floorboard damage due to the water, in addition to minor personal property damage.
4) Don't even bother ordering packages to the building. At least every other package I order/receive is stolen -- this is a building-wide problem and management installed a security camera after multiple complaints. When my important packages were stolen again, I reached out to see the tapes only to be told "the wireless system was down so we haven't been recording anything".
5) Common areas are not cleaned -- often dead bugs and garbage in lobby and hallways. Was sucked in by promise of laundry in basement but have not ONCE used the facilities due to the disgusting conditions underground and reports of theft.
6) Put out scraggly bottle of hand sanitizer by door as COVID measure. No other hygiene precautions or rent reductions to address the ongoing pandemic at all.
Advice to owner:
At least PRETEND you care about your tenants
