Former Tenant
Pros:
We would not have lived here if we hadn’t gotten COVID rent prices (nineteen hundred a month) - but we did, so it was cheap rent for the neighborhood. It was close to many trains and to Whole Foods and to a lot of great restaurants and bars.
Cons:
The building itself was filthy. The apartment had 2 circuits for the whole place, so you couldn’t (for example) run the coffee maker and the window AC unit at the same time without tripping the circuit breaker. There were roaches. The super could only be reached by going to a shady deli down the street and asking for him directly in person?? The lock on the front door to the building was broken and was never fixed despite many requests to have it fixed - turns out, a female tenant was followed home one night and was attacked **in the stairwell of the building** because the attacker was able to sneak in through the unlocked front door.
