Great light filled apartment with den
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nicest owner who lives in Florida, his daughter’s family are the landlords and live on the first floor. Son-in law, who is super, is very warm and friendly and always the first one to shovel the snow on the block or put out the garbage. If there are any problems he makes sure everything is fixed immediately. Only one other unit which is great. Beautiful light fills the apartment, incredible wide open kitchen space. Beautiful mantle in the bedroom and the apartment still retains original building elements like tin ceiling and trim detail work. Great bathroom with window to fire escape. And perfect little office or den space. Building is kept very clean and sanitized. F and R train right down the block.
Cons:
It can be loud on the streets sometimes and the bedroom is on the street side. And because of the Walgreens on the corner and other buildings, there can be litter on the block. But lots of cared for tree pits with pretty flowers in them. You are required to mail the rent check to Florida.
Advice to owner:
A way to set up electronic rent payment would be the only advice.
