Horrendous landlord. Terrible building structure. RUN!!!!
Former Tenant
Pros:
The neighbors were lovely.
Cons:
The building is disgusting and the structure is terrible. You can hear the neighbors sneezing upstairs and the cigarette smoke from the super (who was living illegally in the basement of building!) would come up through the floor. The landlord is the worst I’ve ever encountered in 30 years of living in NYC. We went to court for rent discrepancy and the landlord tried to claim we owed 2-3x as much as we actually did. The judge must have known about him because they sided with us and we didn’t even have to pay what we were prepared to pay.
Advice to owner:
I have no advice.

lovely apartment, worst landlord
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great natural light, beautiful balcony with view, spacious, apartment in good condition. Very nice neighbors. Great neighborhood.
Cons:
Rude and disrespectful landlord. Kicked us out of the apartment post covid a month before our lease ended and still made us pay rent for that month. Very rude man and my roommates and I hated interacting with him. The super was also very rude and never wanted to help us when we needed things fixed. Loved the apartment itself but terrible experiences with the landlord and super.
Advice to owner:
be more understanding and less rude to your tenants.
