Management Company is the only issue
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is great, both location and our unit. It is decent for the neighborhood
Cons:
management company tried to send a broker three times (a did a tour once without permission) to list our apartment while we had a lease and right after we signed a new year-long lease. One of the brokers they contracted called us after the fact to let us know this company did stuff like this all the time so to be careful. They also raise the rent every year and are not receptive to any negotiating.

Great area, terrible management
Former Tenant
Pros:
The super is nice and helpful however, it may take him a few days to respond. Overall nice apt w in unit washer/dryer. Building is quite and everyone (mostly) respects one another.
Cons:
Overpriced and cheaply made. Entire floor in one of the (4) rooms had to be torn up and replaced (because bad piping caused entire room to fill with thick steam and floors were bending). Construction took over a month, making that room entirely unusable and tracked dirt and dust through the apt. When we reached out to management ab a decrease in rent because of inability to use 1/4 of the apt for over a month, we received no response. Then got faced with a 50% rent increase for renewal. No control over heat, even w radiator off the hot water pipes (running up the walls and in closet) would cause anything nearby to melt and made it so hot during the winter, AC was still necessary. Packages tend to get stolen if you don’t keep a close eye on them.
Advice to owner:
Don’t increase rent on tenants like that, especially after ignoring requests to decrease rent because one roommate entirely had to move out for over a month due to their renovations.

No Complaints Here
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great price considering space and location. Super is very friendly and responsive. No issues with management.
Cons:
The walls aren’t thin, but they definitely don’t block out a lot of sounds. Had a few neighbors that would blast music (one time until 6am). And during the summer you could smell the garbage baking it your apartment faced the courtyard. lol

nice place, crummy management
Former Tenant
Pros:
the location is amazing. apartments are recently updated and in decent shape.
Cons:
it’s impossible to contact management, even if there’s a problem.
Advice to owner:
management must be more responsive.
