Horrible Management, Worse Communication
Former Tenant
Pros:
The area and building are nice. The one thing they do consistently is monthly pest control.
Cons:
Management ignores maintenance tickets for WEEKS. The radiator system is constantly struggling and we lose hot water for a few hours every few days. Two nights ago everyone's radiator in the building started spewing water and the entire lobby and basement apartment flooded with water. It took over an hour to get someone to come turn off the water because none of the 7 tenants freaking out in the lobby had access to the real supers number. Our super quits every few months and we get no notice when they do or who the new super is. Such a dangerous situation with no way to contact the management. What did management do? Sent over someone to drain the boiler and turn it back on an hour later, mop up the water, and sent someone the next day to patch the holes in people ceilings that were dumping water into their apartments. No communication to the building about a cause or long term fix. When you reach out to management good luck getting a response within a month even with multiple emails. At least one tenant is suing because management refuses to pay for water damage after ignoring issues with the system like this for over a year and it only gets worse.
Advice to owner:
Stop buying property and hire staff
