199 Hell Avenue
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building on the outside was nice.
Cons:
The building on the inside was a hellscape. We had so many rodent, and insect infestations. We had a leaking ceiling that refused to be fixed. There were sketchy things going on with the owner, and he took no responsibility for anything (hence the 40 code violations).
Advice to owner:
Stop lying to your tenants

Knew it was too good to be true
Former Tenant
Pros:
Doesn’t do that extensive of credit checks
Cons:
Where to start. There’s no company website for their “reputable and well known business” they don’t accept personal checks or electronic payments because “they can be reversed” owner states he’s an attorney but there is no record of him being licensed in NY State. Lease is entirely illegal saying that if rent isn’t paid on the first (in cash or bank check) then the rent is increased 200$ and on day 4 by 9%. Completely illegal and scam artist.
