Good Building, some bad owners/landlords
Former Tenant
Pros:
Amazing, good-hearted people living there. Super is fantastic. Great location.
Cons:
The building is right on Flatbush ave, which is a major roadway through Brooklyn and can get loud. Mice infestation was not handled properly by building management. Some of the individual landlord/owners that tenants are forced to deal with are not thoughtful, helpful, or kind. One refused to fix appliances and amenities that were their responsibility to fix under the lease agreement. This included oven/stove, dishwasher, fan/light, doorknob/lock. Condition of tenant property that was damaged during apt incident was not handled appropriately.
Advice to owner:
I suggest Beth Perillo reconsiders being a landlord in NYC if she is unwilling to take responsibility and do the job properly.

Great building, bad management
Former Tenant
Pros:
This condo building is about 50/50 owner occupied, so the landlords are just individual people renting out their units. Each unit has a washer/dryer, a dishwasher, and a fireplace, plus hardwood floors. The long time building super is very nice and very responsive.
Cons:
You will hear your upstairs and downstairs neighbors when they walk around, play music, etc., because the floors are thin. Also, building management is terrible. They repeatedly ignored a long-term mouse infestation, and they’re surly and unresponsive when contacted.
Advice to owner:
Hire a better building management company and a better exterminator
