    Comes up short

    Pros:
    Location to the park, outdoor space, large square footage, newly updated, pet friendly, central AC, responsive landlord.
    Cons:
    Rent is high and given this, the following issues were a dealbreaker for us: Noise from upstairs neighbors (half an issue with the building itself, half the neighbors unwillingness to help the problem - early risers with kids running around incessantly at 5:30am), cockroaches and ants frequently an issue, can’t control the heat (controlled by landlord and temp inside the apartment was kept between 75 - 80 degrees between Oct - May), Washer and dryer way too small for a family (frequently didn’t work), garbage is kept right outside front window and neighbors carelessly leave trash and recyclables outside of cans causing rat/mouse issues.
