7th + 11th
Former Tenant
Pros:
The location, many tenants have been here for years and are friendly once you get to know them, the super is incredibly kind, helpful, and handy, the apartment size and having on that was more recently renovated, laundry in the building.
Cons:
The hallways and common spaces are pretty old and show it - needing a serious paint job, new lighting, and a new front door to the building as it sometimes does not shut entirely. We’re right near the fire department which is equally as reassuring as it is loud. The landlord only accept mail-in checks rather than direct deposit or a in-unit drop box.

Okay-ish building, lots of snokers
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice location, close to the park
Cons:
Roaches, ants, tons of smokers in the building whose fumes often seep into your apartment. Insanely hot in the winter.
Advice to owner:
Get rid of the smokers.
