Great amenities for what you pay for
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building and apartments have everything you need, for the most part. The bedrooms are a decent size, although 2/3 don't have closets. It's also right by the shuttle, with the windows closed you can barely hear it. The rooftop was a nice add-on as long as tenants in the building were respectful of the space. Laundry and elevator in the building was great to have as well.
Cons:
Although there were great amenities, they were slow to conduct any type of maintenance that was requested. The elevator would be out of order and it would take up to a week for it to operate again. The trash room would sometimes pile up and they would use an old/unclean mop on the floors which would cause there to be an odor throughout the building.

Poor construction and poorly maintained building
Former Tenant
Pros:
View Rooftop High ceilings Only two units per floor
Cons:
Elevator out of service over 8 times in a 4 month period. Door to the rooftop has been without a handle for almost a year, causes a lot of noise and banging. Trash chute isn’t functional. Apartment was not cleaned properly or painted between tenancy even though we were told it would be. Nice windows but they are poorly installed so it’s drafty. Building is only 5 years old but already there is water damage. No super so when things go wrong they’re not fixed.
Advice to owner:
Hire a super and invest in maintaining the property

Do not rent here.
Former Tenant
Pros:
It sure looks good on the Internet. The roof is great, the best part being that it's not actually inside the building.
Cons:
Ever say to yourself "Wow, New York landlords sure have a lot of power! A lot of them must be crooks!" Well friend, have I got a confirmation bias for you! This landlord is currently being investigated federally for a $6M fraud scheme, and boy does it show! Had a leaky ceiling for months? Too bad! Your hard-earned rent money needs to be paid to the landlord, for doing absolutely nothing but owning a building, and to shore up his surely massive legal fees; that ceiling is never getting fixed! Laundry broken? That's your problem! I hope you're ready to fight the super for weeks and waste cash and your wardrobe to get anything done about that! Wow, an elevator! It's broken constantly, don't believe it. My roommates and I have gotten both locked out of the building and locked into the building because the door buzzer or handle was broken. A key has not been provided for the front door after multiple requests. The solution to a broken bathtub plug is to complain to the tenant about it, then rip it out and never think again about replacing it. This building is advertised as a Millenial's NYC apartment dream: every conceivable appliance and feature that can be listed on Nooklyn! Don't believe it for a second. I hate this apartment and hate giving the money I actually work for over to the crook landlord.
Advice to owner:
Get a real job after you take care of that massive legal liability. Let someone who has even the slightest care for their (surely also undeserved) property be responsible for others' quality of life.
