The Longest Uphill battle you will ever Experience - Avoid this Owner!!!

Pros:
If location is your main draw this is the area to rent in. Close to everything downtown BK has to offer and numerous trains in the area. Neighbors are respectful for the nearly 10 years i lived in the building
Cons:
The owner is the absolute worst when it came to abating pests, as in fully grown rodents running throughout the building from the lack of onsite maintenance gathering trash adequately. water pressure and temp in the shower is bipolar frequently flipping from scalding to freezing cold in a 5-10min shower. most of the building is suffering from a shift in the foundation and has numerous cracks in the walls sheetrock. ANY repairs deemed Urgent get ready to file multiple complaints with 311 and/or DHCR to get them resolved as the absent landlord only shows up on time to collect rent, but never make repairs. the last two years I lived there the rodent/roach problem worsened to where I moved and threw out most of my apartment for fear of transferring to my new place.
Advice to owner:
actually make timely repairs and make the spaces youre renting livable, or at least to a standard you would comfortably live in.
