You get what you pay for
Former Tenant
Pros:
Rent controlled, affordable, good location
Cons:
Landlord is awful, good luck getting repairs done, needs to be updated, rat problem in walls, very thin walls (can hear every word from neighbor)
Advice to owner:
Put some money into the building
