Great building, modern amenities

Pros:
Apartment was well-kept, had no issues with apartment throughout time living there. Street noise was louder than preferred and right across from a school. Modern amenities including dishwasher and washer/dryer in building that worked.
Cons:
No elevator in building

Pros:
Nice neighborhood, nice finishes, great accessibility to the subway.
Cons:
Very poor management. Not responsible at all, we had a maintenance issue the day we moved in and it was not fixed 12+ later until we moved out!!
The apartment flooded 3 times during the time we lived there and the owner could not care less! They left us with lots of damages.
There has been a faulty fire alarm system in the building that produces annoying beeping noise to an extend we couldn’t sleep or even take meetings from the apartment.
There is only one washing machine for 4 floors which leads the laundry being very busy and not available most of the time.
Advice to owner:
Respond to your texts and emails and act like your tenants are humans too!

Pros:
Keyless entry, monthly exterminators, dishwasher in some units, laundry in basement, self controlled AC and heating in every room, gas stove.
Cons:
Garbage area gets disgusting with fallen mulberries in summer, problems take forever to get acknowledged or addressed by property manager, smell of sewage in basement from some flooding, thin walls and can hear neighbors all around you, water takes forever to heat up, spectrum wifi.
Advice to owner:
Listen to your tenants and be more available and willing to help when things are needed.

Location, windows, roof, and pet-friendly
Cons:
Laundry (I get charged $6 for a $2.50 laundry load), slow response time from management regarding major maintenance issues, and super easy to hear other neighbors (walls shake at times depending on speed of person walking on floor above.)
Advice to owner:
Try to increase response time for emergency maintenance issues and ensure laundry is accessible (not overcharging)
