Slumlords in disguise
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location. Respectful neighbors. Intercom system.
Cons:
I’ve been in this building for 30 years. Where do I start? First of all, they formerly operated as Galster Management. Look them up, it’s not pretty. Then Pomp LLC. New names, same games. The people who run this company are utterly heartless. They’ll take you to court over nothing (lawyers on retainer) and do the absolute minimum in terms of maintenance. There is very little heat provided when it’s cold out. I have to wear sweaters and hats while sitting on my couch. It takes five minutes to get hot water in the bathroom, so no hand washing there. They will refuse all repairs if they have a loophole. And they act like total jerks when you need to discuss something. If I’m being extremely generous, they’re not as bad as they used to be, but that isn’t saying much. Marc Goodman is the head prick in charge, and pray you never have to deal with him.
Advice to owner:
Be decent to your paying tenants. And stop changing your name to outrun your subterranean reputation.
