Fine in fair weather, miserable in winter
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Beautiful views of the park
- Gorgeous kitchen
- Good amenities - garbage room, elevator, laundry
Cons:
- Landlord is very stingy with heat. Apartments are barely livable in winter, and common areas are freezing.
- Lots of street noise
- Buzzer doesn't work. Landlord refuses to fix it.
- Landlord often doesn't answer the phone. Doesn't seem to care about tenant happiness unless they're being sued.
- I had to move out for two months because of a construction project in the building. I received no warning before it started. I was not compensated.
Advice to owner:
Try to run a building that you'd want to live in. This building is marketed as luxury, and costs luxury prices. But the level of care and treatment feels like living in a slum.

901 Washington Beware
Former Tenant
Pros:
The only positive thing about this building is the Super, who lives in the building. He is responsive, caring, and knowledgeable.
Cons:
The actual management is horrendous. Our home was broken into multiple times. They left our unit exposed, vulnerable, and unprotected. They will do absolutely nothing over a weekend. So if your home is broken into on the weekend, and Police are dispatched to your home, please know that no help will be offered until business hours starting on Monday. It’s criminal, negligent, and downright immoral.
Advice to owner:
Hire Knowledgeable, equipped and non-lazy employees. Create a work environment that values great tenants. Place safety and protection of your tenants as your number one priority.

Do not pay the rent to live here as a new tenant
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nothing at all
Cons:
Super does not respond to anything

Buzzer lock and intercom system always breaking and company seems to be in a fight with the vendor
Advice to owner:
Get a more responsive super, fix the locks, do some maintenance and stop trying to raise rent in pandemics where better buildings w more amenities are renting for cheaper

Former Tenant
Pros:
None that I can Think of
Cons:
Super takes forever to complete jobs or starts a job and never comes to finish it
Advice to owner:
Get a new super
