Good option overshadowed by greed
Former Tenant
Pros:
Decent neighborhood options, good walking streets, laundry in buildinh
Cons:
Laundry machines are broken many times, owners will try to scam you when moving out on the dumbest charges, don't fall for it and push back.
Advice to owner:
Show more empathy

Will try to take your security
Former Tenant
Pros:
Beautiful old building.
Cons:
Property owners took half my security deposit after the super signed a walk through stating everything was in good condition. They claimed the walk through was “lost”’when I asked them about it. They charged for a minor cosmetic issue that was already there when I moved in and they charged for a small mark on a door from normal wear and tear that could have been filled and painted over. Or if it was flagged as an issue during the walk through I could have just filled and painted myself. I called them out for lying about the missing walk through. I never got my money back. I had already signed a lease for one of their other buildings and they tried to pull the same thing on me for damages to a floor by the previous tenant. Thankfully I had email history proving this and they weren’t able to scam me a second time.
Advice to owner:
Be better.
