Absent landlord just wants your money

Pros:
The apartments are pretty, and those facing south get much light
Cons:
Apartment might have lead, mold.
Apartment does have bad mice issues. Landlord does nothing to help the situation.
Landlord does not respond. Damp areas in kitchen are a sign of deeper building issues.
Higher floors have roof leaking problems.
Older tenants are abandoned by landlord.
Awful experience. Think twice.
