they are hostile, dismissive, and negligent
Former Tenant
Pros:
I had some cool neighbors. nice wood floors.
Cons:
the building owners overcharge rent on rent-stabilized apartments. often there is no heat. crumbling walls and broken pipes. they also harass their BIPOC tenants in an attempt to get rid of them. avoid this building.
Advice to owner:
maybe you should move out of real estate and start working at in cryptocurrency

Don’t let them try and bully you
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location, the building itself does have good old school Brooklyn charm.
Close transportation, excellent food and good community.
Cons:
Management company tries to placate you if something is wrong and it takes on average 3-4 complaints for something to happen.
Threatening to call 311 is what it takes for them to actually fix something. The only language they speak.
Advice to owner:
Know the law and listen the first time around when a complaint is made. Understand the lease and stop trying to get away with things.
