Great starter apartment, but not long-term material
Former Tenant
Pros:
-Very nice property managers
-Quiet street
-close to the A/C train and walking distance to Prospect Park
-steps away from best part of Crown Heights nightlife
-Beautiful stoop
Cons:
-constantly had to fight off drain flies and roaches (even with very clean apartment)
-heating system is outdated and costly (spent anywhere from $130-$250 per month in the winter)
-Rent is too high for what you’re getting honestly
- while street itself is typically quiet, there can be a lot of noise in the middle of the day
Advice to owner:
I suggest investing in a more modern heating/cooling system and to proactively battle pests
