Absolutely horrible experience
Former Tenant
Pros:
The location was excellent in Crown Heights.
Cons:
Everything was screwy about this apartment. There were mice, slugs, and black mold in the downstairs bedroom. The mold was not properly addressed on the exterior leaks. They lied about sealing up a closet in the unit (that was the only one with a door) because it wasn't insulated and it caused mildew damage to our property. The water heater for the unit was faulty for the first three months we lived there with horrible water pressure and sporadic temperature. It never lasted long enough to take a bath. Half the electrical outlets upstairs didn't work and were never fixed despite multiple efforts to do so. The grates on the upstairs windows couldn't be properly closed, leading to slamming during weather. The yard was full of Japanese knotweed, which the property manager never attended to, and otherwise was basically unusable due to mosquitos and gnats. The landlord took forever to respond to emails and the property manager refused to give me her phone number when I asked for it.

it’s rat’s nest
Former Tenant
Pros:
lots of space! okay natural light on the second floor. big kitchen and living space.
Cons:
There were rats everywhere, inside and out. Huge roaches everywhere. Mold inside the coat closet under the stairs due to an unsealed leak and not properly weather-protected insulation. The landlord was barely responsive to our issues, and the super was openly racist often shouting expletives in his apartment, which we shared a bedroom wall with. The walls themselves also seemed very poorly constructed and it was hard to put any type of home together because hanging things up seemed dangerous and unstable.
Advice to owner:
Completely gut renovate the apartment and severe pest control is desperately needed.
