Small Building Woes
Former Tenant
Pros:
Small building, beautiful facade, great neighborhood
Cons:
Greedy owner only concerned with extracting max value of the units, if you want to fix anything in the apartment you almost always have to do it yourself.
Advice to owner:
Sell building to the tenants

Absolutely terrible landlord
Former Tenant
Pros:
Neighbors in the building were all nice
Cons:
Management SUCKED. Building had no insulation. So even though you control your own heat (you pay a ton for gas/electric), the apartments are never warm. Management basically gave renters the middle finger for any maintenance issues.
