Nice place, decent management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Bike storage area in the entryway
Nice residents, never had any problems with noise or package theft
Sometimes maintenance is really fast (for smaller issues like light bulbs)
Cons:
Management is not always responsive - I've had a few maintenance tickets opened for months.
Also I've never met my landlord in person.

Convenient location in Crown Heights, nice building. Would definitely recommend!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Laundry in building, clean, friendly neighbors. Had a great experience living here and would recommend!
Cons:
Nothing significant to note

Nice building, nice location, crap management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Central A/C & heat, modern finishes, a lot of space, a good amount of storage
Cons:
Management was inattentive & unresponsive, & penny pinched every fix. Basement flooded and we were told it was our fault because we didn’t clear a drain that we had no idea existed
Advice to owner:
Fix your building in a way tht will last longer. It might cost more money up front but it will save you a lot of momey and phone calls in the future. The amount of profit you make from our rent should have more than covered it

Thin walls
Former Tenant
Pros:
Air conditioning and laundry on premises
Cons:
Loud at night. Neighbors often have parties. Walls in building very thin so can hear people walking around above you or fighting below you

Loved this apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great distance from all the trains, gorgeous apartment, great amenities (central AC/heat, laundry in the basement)
Cons:
The stoop smells like piss a lot. People tend to congregate on the sidewalk outside the next door building a lot in the summer and it can be loud at night sometimes.

For me personally, management was pretty responsive to the numerous maintenance issues I had (sink drainage, fridge issue, stove issue, slight mouse issue but it was resolved right away). Although this sounds like a lot, I feel like things were taken care of if you submitted a ticket that said there was an emergency issue. So def be pushy about issues.

Noisy Neighbors indoors and out
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building has exposed brick and is near a few trains, as well as a grocer.
Cons:
The neighbors across from the back of the building hold parties with live djs and concert sized speakers. People urinate near where we put our trash and it smells. There was flooding in the ceilings and it was not cleaned out to prevent mold. The apt was not cleaned before we moved in.
Advice to owner:
Find a management company that is responsive and make actual repairs, not bandaids.

It's not terrible, but it's not great
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Laundry in basement (at least as of 2019)
- Updated throughout
- Video intercom
- Exposed brick
- Online system for paying rent/submitting maintenance requests
Cons:
- Slow to respond to requests and virtually unreachable on weekends
- They will try to sneak in extra charges when you move out so make sure you're present for the walk through
Advice to owner:
Get someone who's available to respond to requests/fulfill them on weekends when the usual staff is not able to!!

Not bad for what it is
Former Tenant
Pros:
Has laundry, never had to deal with pests. Good enough shower and good heat/ac
Cons:
The mailbox has been broken since before I lived here, and has never been fixed. My fridge drips and my oven doesn’t work. The dryer doesn’t stop after an hour, which, if you’re budget-minded, isn’t a con. Our repair requests are answered, but mostly by someone who shows up, shrugs it off, and hits the road.
