Charming and bright but loud
Former Tenant
Pros:
Three story walk-up. Great roof access which is no one is ever on. Have very rarely seen a bug. The apartment is very charming with cute molding and unique arches. Although I am in a studio, the apartment is a good size and there is good separation being the living room, kitchen, and bathroom. West facing widows so there is excellent light in the afternoon, only con is that i can get pretty warm from all the direct sunlight.
Cons:
Packages sometimes go missing. Loud street noise if your apartment is street facing. Took a long time for the heat to turn on and the heat would be inconsistent throughout the day, running mostly at night so i would be freezing during the day time.

Small but cozy apartment- great deal if rent stabilized
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location, crown molding details inside, big backyard space for people on ground floor in back, decent amount of closet space, lots of storage space above cabinets, high ceilings, sensible layout to make good use of small space, landlord is responsive, friendly and helpful except for package stealing situation
Cons:
No sunlight, cracked walls, refrigerator in living room area, limited outlets in kitchen area, cannot receive packages without them getting stolen, shower head is in weird location (middle of bathtub instead of head) — this is review is for an unrenovated unit with access to sunlight. Renovated units in different areas of the building do not require fridge to be in living room area and may not have cracks in the wall
Advice to owner:
Install and advertise security cameras to deter people from stealing packages. Communicate code to enter building to mail and shipping carriers so packages can be left inside vs on stoop
