A long and tiring road
Former Tenant
Pros:
Fairly (sort of) responsive management in the sense that they’ve eventually taken care of problems I’ve reported.
Cons:
I’ve lived here for four months. In that time, I’ve experienced persistent cockroaches (had to have an exterminator come 5 times), the main door to the building being lodged shut (it was the weekend and the property managers didn’t respond until the next day), steam pipes so loud that I couldn’t sleep through the night (they took 2+ weeks to fix this issue), and neighbors complaining about barking coming from our apartment (despite the fact that I rehomed my dog shortly after moving in here). Take from that what you will!
Advice to owner:
Routine maintenance and inspections, please!

Old/faulty apartments, convenient location
Former Tenant
Pros:
The location is pretty solid. Proximity to great restaurant + bar drags on Nostrand and Franklin.
Cons:
The building and apartments are extremely old. Management has been talking about fixes to justify increase of rent (which jumped up 20%) from 2021-2022, but the fact remains that the building doesn’t really have any amenities. The ceiling in my apartment is chipping and falling in small fragments, and all of the appliances are easily 20+ years old. Contractors make fixes on the fly, but most of these units need to have appliances replaced in the kitchen and bathroom.
Additionally, in 2022, the owners without warning started a massive apartment gutting/maintenance job on the 2nd floor. The noise carried through the entire building and cause a ton of dust to accumulate within the stairwell. Our neighbors on the first floor had major ceiling damage and even had a worker fall through their ceiling.

Heat and bathroom issue
Former Tenant
Pros:
Most time response is quick
Cons:
The heat was bad and it can’t help if it is winter. Bathroom was leaking and mould. I don’t recommend to live in here
