ILLEGAL SLUMLORDS
Former Tenant
Pros:
Literally nothing at all.
Cons:
Never ending plumbing issues, that the management only put a bandaid on with drank and a drain snake every 3 weeks. The building also illegally evicted me, and I currently have a police report against them. I was never even told that I had to leave until the day before they broke into my apartment, my locked bedroom door, and stole all of my belongings. Everything. Family heirlooms even that I’ll never get back. And when I try to call, I’m only able to reach their secretary, Marlene Gabriel, who curses me out before hanging up on me.
Advice to owner:
Be courteous to your subletters, ESPECIALLY in a pandemic, and without a court marshal.
