Chill and Small Building

Pros:
Our unit has been decently maintained over the years, the building is small so you relatively know everyone living in the building. It's safe, packages are never stolen in the foyer, relatively quiet at any given point. Have never had a problem with pests.
Cons:
Super is great. Owners are kind but are very cheap and slow to act at times, basement could definitely use some cleaning up. Not a lot of notice of ongoings, ie when the water was turned off this summer to replace the water heater on a weekend day - no email or text.

RAT INFESTATION AND BLACK MOLD

Pros:
Decent location and great neighbors.
Cons:
Leaking walls, black mold, faulty electricity, and mice and RATS! Not just in the walls - IN THE APARTMENTS. A rat died on my bed. Landlord/super doesn’t care and does the bare minimum to fix it.
Advice to owner:
Do your job and keep your tenants safe.
