Crown heights
Former Tenant
Pros:
Relatively quiet and clean inside.
Cons:
The property manager is unresponsive and unhelpful.
The landlord tried to increase rent during covid and uses negative tactics to pressure you on rent and lease.
Mailboxes have been broken since move in. Never got fixed.
Oven not working well. They “fixed” it.
On move in day apartment was not ready and key was nowhere.
The code for the basement storage area has never worked. Required to pay for that storage but still don’t have access.
Advice to owner:
Fix the mailboxes. Doesn’t open easily. A hazard to someone getting hurt at some point.
Don’t charge for basement storage when tenant can’t even access it.
