Nice while it lasted
Former Tenant
Pros:
-beautiful street -amenities -no flooding, which is great for a ground floor unit
Cons:
-yuppy landlords who feel entitled to a $650 rent increase and are offended when they learn about tenants rights laws -two loud children running laps on the floor above your head -will have big religious gatherings in your shared backyard, right outside your window -they ask you to take care of the trash and everything when they’re out of town, even though they always have family staying upstairs in their place anyway

Garden Unit Is Nice but Landlords are not
Former Tenant
Pros:
-The building is in good condition for its age. -Backyard is spacious and clean. -Amenities like washing, dryer, and dishwasher are very convenient.
Cons:
-Landlords come off as nice but increased the rent immensely on us despite our great track record of being great tenants who are active in the community and give back as well as put up with their kids noise levels. You get the feeling that no matter how hard you try to get on their good side, they will try to use “rational figures” to justify an immense increase. We weren’t paying below average before the increase either. We were already paying slightly above average for a 1 bed garden level apartment. -Noise levels are loud during the day and evening with kids stomping a yelling. -a lot of the DIY work they did to make this a legal unit to rent are not well built.
