Great building and block!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Truly a gem of a building, hardly any pests, friendly neighbors, great sunlight.
Cons:
The landlord is pretty discriminatory towards families that have lived here for decades, refusing to do their repairs while responding quickly to the gentrified apartments. There is also randomly trash that appears in the stairwell or the lobby, but that gets cleaned up relatively quickly.
There’s a group of high school kids that frequently try to get into the building to access the roof. Pretty sure they’ve also stolen packages, but this was more of an issue in past years but this year the neighbors have banded together to stop them from getting in and I haven’t seen them in a while.
