Walls are very thin
Former Tenant
Pros:
Looks nice on the surface. I believe there is a cleaning crew that comes twice a week that cleans up the common areas.
Cons:
The walls/floors have no insulation so you can hear all your adjacent neighbors. The front doors and doors to the stairs slam very loudly. Pets are allowed and you will hear constant barking throughout the day. There was a time when the alarm would go off constantly. They have a people come take out the garbage on garbage days but not very consistent and the garbage would pile up.
Advice to owner:
Should install soft closing doors or door stoppers/wall protectors and make sure the cleaning/garbage crew come consistently.

Aesthetic details cover up a hastily built building
Former Tenant
Pros:
There’s extra security with a door with a keypad you need to enter before getting to your actual apartment with your own key.
Cons:
Landlord barely fixes anything even if he says he will and doesn’t respond on weekends. This should also be illegal, and maybe it is, but they raised the rent prices the day we came to the office to sign the lease. Things fall apart all the time and it’s hard to get circulation into the apartment. They also advertised in unit washer and dryer, but it’s one shitty coin op machine locked in the basement where it has to be shared by the entire building. Better off going to the laundromat. Lease had to be signed in person last minute by all tenants, with no copies given, and the only way to pay rent is all together which can cause delays in payment. Overall a shady impression.
Advice to owner:
Be more responsive and maybe tenants will be happier. Also streamline processes like lease signings and rent payments by using online services. Stop being so cheap.
