Great Experience w/ this landlord and management company

I found the landlords/management very responsive. Building was kept very clean. Live in super was THE BEST

somewhat thin walls - and some neighbors could be a bit noisy

The super is excellent.

In unit washer-dryer and dishwasher.

Regular pest management, have seen 2 cockroaches total.

The management company is extra. In the 10 months I’ve lived here they replaced the sidewalks in the back of the building (several months of jackhammering), repainted the ceilings of the common areas, replaced the fully functional mailboxes, and redid the light fixtures in the common areas. None of these things seemed necessary.
Cons:
The hot water does not work regularly (~2 times per month on average) and the super gives a different reason each time.

I got a covid deal last year and now they are raising the rent by over 50%.

The management company sets the heat to 68 but it is regularly 1-3 degrees colder in my apartment. I feel badly complaining so often bc the super is really nice about it, but it’s def below legal temp.
