Great space, Management doesn't care
Former Tenant
Pros:
Lots of room, in-unit washer/dryer, neighbors are fine, management comes weekly to clean the common spaces as take out the trash
Cons:
Management is inattentive and only cares about money, the building is steam heated so some rooms are too hot and others are too cold in the winter, hot exposed pipes including in the shower, I've come across 1 mouse and several cockroaches, no a/c in the summer is dreadful and dangerous to elderly and pets, I've heard people don't receive their security deposit back

Lived here for a year
Former Tenant
Pros:
I liked subway and park proximity, neighbors were very nice, a cafe opened up around the corner too.
Cons:
When I lived there, the super wasn't very responsive and the front door was broken. Anyone could walk into the building. I never got my security deposit back and know others who had the same issue and had to take the management company to court. Additionally, the management office kept moving (three times in just the year I moved in, and their address on record with the city was last updated over ten years ago). It's very hard to track these people down.
Advice to owner:
Pay back security deposits, be more transparent, fix things in a timely manner.

Hope new management is better
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great water pressure and heat. Very nice amount of space in rooms and common area. Updated kitchen.
Cons:
Doorbell/buzzer is broken and has been for a very long time. There has been problems with cockroaches. Old management took forever to solve issues such as broken septic tank and doorbell/front door lock. Hoping new management is better.
